Making a Difference...One Child at a Time |
Le
Fondation Pour les Enfants d'Haiti (FEH) is a Christian organization committed
to providing physical, emotional and spiritual care to needy children
in Haiti.
FEH is motivated by the conviction that all children deserve to live in a secure and loving environment, receive a standard of care that promotes physical and emotional well being, and receive an education that will prepare them for a productive future. FEH was established in 1981 when Gladys Sylvestre assumed management of a small orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti One of the strengths of FEH is that it was founded by, and is operated by, Haitians who understand and respect the Haitian people and their culture, and are committed to the long term welfare of the country. FEH is an independent organization, governed by a Haitian board of directors. It has no political or corporate affiliations. The work is supported by a diverse group of concerned individuals in Canada, the United States and Haiti. Since 1981, FEH has expanded and enhanced its programs and it now operates five ministries: Haiti Home for Children; School of the Good Sower; Rainbow of Love Nursery; Hope Home; and Hope Hospital. |
