General Donations

Although the sponsorship programs are an important part of the funding of FEH's programs, they do not come close to covering the total cost of the activities in Haiti.

We suggest a monthly donation of $25 for a sponsorship because this is an amount that many families are able to provide on an ongoing basis, and it provides an important personal link between the sponsor and child. However, we estimate that the full cost of a child in Haiti Home for Children is around $100 US per month, and about $150 - $175 US per month for a child in Hope Home.

In addition to the children's residences, running the acute care medical facility at Hope Hospital is an expensive proposition.

Therefore, FEH relies on general donations to cover the ongoing costs of its ministries.

Remember, if you would like your donation to be dedicated to one of the specific programs operated by FEH, simply note the program on your cheque or money order.

Steps in Using Paypal to make your donation:

Note - Paypal charges a fee of 3.5%.  If you would like to avoid incurring this fee, please donate by cheque, above

  1. Go to the PayPal website.

  2. Click on "Log In".  (or... if you don't have an account .. "Sign up").

  3. After clicking "Log In", on the next page that comes up, complete the "Log in" box (e-mail address and password) and click the "Log in" button.

  4. On the next page, click the "Send money" tab under the "Paypal" logo.

  5. On the "Send Money" page: (a) In the "To (E-mail or mobile phone)" box, put info@cfchcanada.ca ; (b) enter the amount; (c) select the "Personal" tab (below the Amount box); (d) click "Gift"; (e) click "continue". 

  6. On the next pages, complete the payment instructions as given.
